J. Arrr- Hoop Dreams
A former basketball player turned MC links up with producer Nicholas Craven for what should be his breakout project. A talented lyricist and with a deliberate delivery, he goes bar for bar with featured artists Che Noir and Ransom. His slick wordplay had me rewinding lines throughout the album.

D2X- The Color Blue
From the opening horns, the Chicago MC is a breath of fresh air. He floats over Jazz arrangements with ease, telling relatable personal stories that inspire me to keep going. Even when he switches up beats and flow, he continues dropping gems and motivating listeners on each track. He’s an MC to watch for in 2021 and beyond.
