2020 has been an incredible year for Hip Hop, particularly among the independent and underground artists. Guest verses, the friendly competition, is a foundational aspect of Hip Hop that has slowly been on the decline. Artists brag about dropping complete projects without features, but in some cases they’re recording their projects that way to avoid being outrapped.
